It is mind-blowing in its genius and simplicity. Pink's "Rainforest Strategy" is a fascinating read that bases a business model on the ecosystem of the rainforest. Michael Q. Everyone in business should read this book regardless of their role. It is educational. It is inspirational. For that matter, anyone who interacts with someone in business should pick up this incredible read. And I believe that would encompass nearly everyone on the planet - unless of course you live in the rainforest, but then you probably already know everything contained in these pages.
So, after reading that chapter, I asked her why she was so sad. I'm just devouring the book. I perceived Angie wasn't being challenged. Pink speaking to a smart kid who wasn't doing well in school.
LOL A girl after my own heart. I used the technique yesterday with my daughter. She's doing well, getting all A's, but she has seemed quite sad and getting worse the last 2 weeks. Her new teacher seems to be a bit on the lazy side (like not giving them their spelling test because she couldn't get to it; not taking them to recess because she was tired -- I'm so sure). The simple technique of engaging my daughter has now awakened the writer and artist within her again.
